I Made Apple Notes on Git
I really like Apple Notes and use it regularly. With the arrival of agentic workflows, I naturally wanted to give agents access to my notes - to save research results, or even just to put together a small content factory of my own. You can do that, but it’s not that simple.
In the end I built an almost complete equivalent - Together Notes. For now it only works in the Apple ecosystem (mac, ipad, iphone). It lets you keep your notes in Git: there’s Github integration, and you can also connect any git repository over https.
How do I use it? Claude and Codex have access to my Github repositories. Sometimes I ask them to save research results into my notes, and in general I now use the notes as a shared collaborative space between me and the agent. I write plans, roadmaps and so on there, so that the agent checks against the product vision.
